“Girl in a Pink Dress”

I was visiting my friends in Jerusalem. The girl entered the room… She looked so sad and fragile that I couldn’t help reaching for my camera. But not until I saw this lonely tree the image was complete.

I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. Photography started to be my hobby at the age of 18 when I got my first beat up camera. I was developing my old B&W photos in my bedroom at night and the whole family was complaining about chemicals and smells… I am not sure why I take photographs. I know that it allows me to express feelings that I can’t express other way. Photography to me is the way of talking to people, capture their emotions and express mine.
