“Picnic Gazabo, Soledad Mission”

I was part of a group of photographers assembled to create a portfolio for the Soledad Mission. We met with the organizer on the first morning at the picnic gazebo on the mission grounds. I looked behind the speaker and saw this amazing play of light and shadow intersperced with the background landscape . I could hardly wait for the speaker to conclude so I could set up and photograph this image. I was apparently the only one to photograph this unusual landscape.
